* Drew is the daughter of actor John Drew Barrymore & Steven Spielberg is her godfather.
* Drew appeared in a TV commercial before her first birthday.
* She appeared in the TV movie "Suddenly Love" at age 2.
* In 1980, Drew aged 4, made her big screen debut in "Altered States".
* In 1982 at age 7 she starred in the big budget Steven Spielberg blockbuster "ET".
* Drew became the youngest person ever to host "Saturday Night Live" at age 7.
* In the years after "ET" Drew fell victim to drugs & alcohol & never finished high school.
* After rehabilitation Drew returned to the big screen playing a troubled teen in 1992's "Poison Ivy".
